From Spain to Slovakia, postal problems.

Hello,

Three shipping to Slovakia.

Last February, I sent a registered letter with one roll plus some coins, envelope open, coins in some pocket.
Last October, I sent a registered letter with some banknotes, envelope open, banknotes in some wallet.
Last November, I sent an insurance letter with some banknotes, after open a claim, the envelope appears last week, this time the parcel was not open, but it´s took near two months to arrive to Slovakia.

It looks like there is not direct way between Spain and Slovakia, so all mail goes to Italy, and once time in Italy goes to Slovakia, told me the staff of Correos, I do not know where the problem is, but I have a serious problem sending to Slovakia.

Anybody has the same experience?

Hi,

Last month I had the same problem! I sent a letter, normal mail, with 1 x 2€ CC inside, but it was not received. It seems that it is normal way of life!!!

Hi,

I have similar experience..
Last year I did swap with Slovakia swapper, I received the coins but letter was broken, I suppose it has been broken in Slovakia, because the letter which I received was repacket by our country (Lithuania) post. Added into plastic bag and marked as damaged.
Thanks god, but coins were not stolen.

In the last 3 months I sent 4 parcels from Austria to my slovakian swap partner with Hermes. They reached him after 2 and 4 days without any problems.

In the last month I did swaps with two Slovakian partners and our letters (normal mail) arrive without problems.

I swapped with Spain from Slovakia lot of times, never had problem when we used registered letter.

Hello,

The problem is not it with letters sent FROM Slovakia, the problem is with some letters sent TO Slovakia. Last week I sent a letter to Slovakia by registered post and arrived well, perfect, but two times before the letters were open.

If some Slovakian need any coin from Spain, I could sell them at facial value plus shipping cost, but I do not swapp with Slovakian, two times are enough for me.
