Finland seems to have issued its 2 euro commemorative coin of 2019 in total secrecy... While nothing has been mentioned on Mint of Finland's website, several people already found the coin in circulation!

The coin is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Finnish Constitution Act of 1919. 500.000 coins are minted.

Is this true?

By the way, the majority of 0.5mil is already in circulation.
No dealers have the coin yet.

How do you know majority is in circulation, did they tell you? They won't give me any official information...

Hi, I heard it from a contact in the Ministry of Finance. Majority of 500k have probably been circulating for a few weeks, if not more.

Does your contact also know what will happen with the rest? Will there be coins in BU sets? Will there be BU sets 2019 at all?
Normally Finland issues 2 BU sets, 1 with normal 2 euro and 1 with commemorative 2 euro coins. Until now I have seen nothing...

Nobody knows yet. Mint of Finland wants to sell to collectors but they are in the middle of negotiations. It is possible there won't be the BU set with CC. In that case there most likely wouldn't be the CC either. Next week we should know more.

Following informations i can found, Finland is negociate contract for minting coins, previous contract finished in december 2018 and new contract signed with Oy Nordic Moneta Ab will start on 1rst december 2019.
At this time there is no issuing program for 2019: no bu set, no gold or silver coin only this 2€ cc dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Finnish Constitution Act of 1919.
Maybe Finnish friends can have more informations ?

Yup. There was a 100€ gold coin issued at the beginning of the year, but regarding other denominations I don't know. It is possible there will be no BU set made and the 2€ CC won't be sold. Next week we might know more.
