is a roll that does not allow you to see the national side of the coin i.e. that shows both sides only with the value of coin

Many thanks, Picaro for explanation!

So, such a roll is a surprise :D

You hope you got 25 Belgian " Croix-Rouge" ...and you have 25 french "Fête de la Musique" (for example)

Hello,

Yes, I have a Belgian blind roll, but I do not know more than which year ?
If I do not open it, I would not know about which year :(

Best regards, Indy.

Hi,
usually the paper shows the date of packaging of the roll,
then a date close to that of emission (+/- 1/2 months) is relating
to currency of our interest, but anything is possible !!!!

Bye

Maybe some countries do, but there are also countries like Netherlands that have no visible marks that can identify the coins, no date, no number, no different paper.
