Characters number in signature

In my signature I put three link to my swap list in this forum but it has more than 255 characters. Only I can put two complete urls and part of third.
Can you change this parameter? For example to 300 or 400 characters.
Or better, can you create a BBCode for write local url of forum? For example
instead off write complete url
