Related to 2014 but anyway, my recent conversation with AASFN:
Hello,

Is it possible to get both 2 euro commemorative coins sent in the same shipment in order for the postage costs to be lower? Vast majority of collectors who order from AASFN think that 50 euro is far too much for these two coins.

TYPE II.a 2 EURO COMMEMORATIVE COIN (1st issue - Bramante) Deposit: E 25,00 TYPE II.b 2 EURO COMMEMORATIVE COIN (2nd issue - Giacomo Puccini) Deposit: E 25,00

If it is, would you please specify what amount should I fill in the order form.

Many thanks for your assistance.

Marin Petrovic
Dear Sir
unluckily if you want to buy type 2 a+b the full amount is 50€ since we calculate 15€ for each coin and 10€ for each delivery.
Best regards

This is very very insolent from AASFN!

Has anyone got any info what sellers will be charging for these two coins?

I totally agree with you. AASFN policy is absolutely not caring at all the customers. I talk with an officer on Facebook, who partially agree with me about VAT questions (for example: VAT on shipping? VAT on the facial value of the coin?) and joint shipping, but told me that he cannot do anything. And often they are not polite at all with customers.

Please consider that 25 euro is also the price asked to Italian collectors. Shipping for each coin from San Marino to Italy costs 5 euro by registered. So for us it's 20 euro for each coin, and 10 euro for 2 deliveries.

In Italy a lot of AASFN customers this year will NOT get the coin in presale like other years... waiting for dealers, Money Fairs, and something similar.

I'm thinking not to make the Numismatic Deposit this year too. It will be probably cheaper to get it from ebay or even from SM online shop when both coins are available.
Probably they are trying to get rid off simple customers and have only a few big coin dealers.
This way it will be easier for them.
Anyway we will see what happens this year.

Yes, but the experience with BU sets says that this policy will only increase their stock. Not their sales.

Does anybody received San Marino 2€ cc 2014 '500th anniversary since the death of Bramante Lazzari 'from AASFN already ?

I'm thinking if I need to start worry about that, because I did't received yet.

Or they waiting the second coin and then they will ship both coins at one shipping.

This is what I received from AASFN earlier this week:

Dear Sir
The 2€ Bramante will be sent in 30 days due to a delay with the deliveries.
