@jore
I would say; because it has color.

I know there are many 'coloured' 2ECC's however from a purist point of view this is 'officially' coloured making it quite rare (there are other officially coloured 2ECC; however not many).

The French Olympics 2024 €2CC also has color but twice as many (20,000 vs 10,000); also the french coloured coin's value was probably overshadowed a little bit by it's 'reverse proof' [not colored] counterpart (of which there are only 4,000).

I myself bought 3 of these portugal proof coins very quickly after it was available online; unfortunatly my order got cancelled; and not just because of a failure in the website but an actual email saying they oversold it (first time this ever happened with the portugal mint shop); I say this not to complain or look for sympathy; rather to emphasis the demand for such coin.
It is also the first time (as far as I'm aware) that the portugal mint restricted the purchase limit to 3 per order; so they obviously understood the demand also.

But this is just my answer; @TychoBrahe feel free to submit your own response :)

Sorry, I miss this question. I think that your answers are also mine.

I have already sold 1 coin for this price, so... I'm asking something that it's accepted.
